An Afternoon at Joshi Gakuin

On Wednesday afternoon, we left the Kichijo Girls’ School after Japanese lessons, music class, English, and gym class to head to the Joshi Gakuin Girls’ School.

En route, we spent some time at the Ichigaya train station, buying little items that will help us remember our time in Tokyo.

Upon arrival, we were greeted so warmly! It was such a pleasure to be able to make this connection between Porter’sĀ and Joshigakuin.

After sharing a short presentation about each school, we sat in small groups and asked questions and talked more about life at girls’ school.

We were so happy to be able to make this exchange of information and experience at yet another girls’ school happen! It was such a pleasure and we look forward to a long and continuing relationship with both schools we have spent time at in Tokyo so far.

Thanks so much to Joshigakuin for hosting us and to Kichijo for being flexible with our time!
